The evenings are drawing in, the leaves are littering the lawn and there\u2019s a distinct chill in the air. Am I melancholy? No! It\u2019s time to light the wood-burner, sit down with a glass of something good and watch Strictly.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I caught a short film of the new recruits in training. Some of them are looking good. I\u2019m quite excited about this line-up as I actually know who most of them are. But it doesn\u2019t bother me if I don\u2019t \u2013 WARNING J WORD \u2013 I enjoy their journey, no matter who they are! I also don\u2019t mind if I\u2019m wrong about who I think will win – like last year. There are\u00a0some great clips on the BBC blog already:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Pasha pash is back with a vengeance but new boy Gleb might be one to watch. Anita Rani\u2019s reaction when paired up with him was hysterical. Not sure I\u2019d be able to look him in the eye either, Anita!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Iwan Thomas will do well. He\u2019s fit and sportsmen always take instruction and train hard. Let\u2019s hope he has some natural rhythm …<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Unless the fan vote keeps him in, Daniel O\u2019Donnell to exit in the first week.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
