I wrote this blog piece a few years ago. Strange to think the only thing of concern then was wet playground duty and short days! We have so much more to worry us at the moment and looking after ourselves has never been more important. I think the buzz phrase is \u2018self-care.\u2019

Personally, I\u2019ve never been one to diet in January. It\u2019s too cold and miserable. I\u2019d rather, as suggested in the blog, read a book – the more escapist the better, smooth on some luxurious body cream, paint my nails or spray myself with Clarins Eau Dynamisante – it never fails to lift my mood as it smells of sunshine. It\u2019s the small things which can give the most pleasure. This year I\u2019m adding cooking and eating something tasty and nutritious. As we\u2019re not able to eat out at the moment, exploring new recipes has taken on a new significance. I\u2019m definitely having a hot and steamy affair with Genghis the AGA!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
