The first Millie book is Spring Beginnings. A mysterious stranger comes into Millie\u2019s seaside caf\u00e9 in Berecombe. It turns out to be Jed, who\u2019s on the lookout for information \u2026 We also meet Zoe, her grandfather Arthur, and Biddy and her assistance poodle, Elvis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThe second Millie book, Summer Loves, concentrates on Millie\u2019s friend, Dora. Dora is a successful actor returning to her home town for a holiday \u2013 or is she? We also get to meet one of my favourite characters, the troubled Mikey Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThe third Millie book, Christmas Weddings sees a happy ending for not only Millie, but also for Arthur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It starts with Tash\u2019s Story. Tash has it made \u2013 a great career, a lovely house but all is not what it seems. She\u2019s in a disastrous relationship with the slimy Adrian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nEmma\u2019s Story is next. Emma works with Tash at Berecombe\u2019s estate agents. She\u2019s lived in the town all her life but has become dissatisfied with her lot. When she joins an evening class run by the suave and worldly Joel, things really begin to happen! Emma is our introduction to the large and chaotic Tizzard family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThe third Book Caf\u00e9 instalment is Amy\u2019s Story. I love Amy! Hopelessly romantic, she has her dream job \u2013 she runs Berecombe\u2019s Book Shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nJaney Trelawney\u2019s Year of Surprising Triumphs comes next. This concentrates on Cheney House Garden Centre in the village of Bereford, just inland a little from Berecombe and focusses on Janey but we also catch up with Millie, Emma and Amy too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a standalone novel that can be read as an e-pub or paperback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Then comes The Great Summer Street Party series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In Sunshine and Cider Cake we meet Ashley who has come to Berecombe to help her cousin, Noah, at the town\u2019s museum. Berecombe regulars pop up, like Biddy, Beryl and Zoe but there\u2019s a new \u2018girl\u2019 in town too, Ruby, aged 91!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The next book in the series is GIs and Ginger Beer where Ashley and Eddie\u2019s story is developed and where we also find out more about Ruby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And the third is Blue Skies and Blackberry Pies where many Berecombe regulars appear.
