A lot of us make New Year\u2019s Resolutions but I thought it might be more useful to make some Christmas ones! <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. I will not go on the hunt for unwrapped presses and, when finding them, ruin the surprise by having a good nose.<\/li>\n
  2. Similarly, I will not poke, prod and a have a really good feel of wrapped presses under the tree.<\/li>\n
  3. I will go to midnight mass. Sober.<\/li>\n
  4. I will keep out of the kitchen while hubby \u2018creates\u2019 Christmas lunch.<\/li>\n
  5. I will try not to argue about the best method of making custard.<\/li>\n
  6. I will endeavour to stay awake on Christmas Day afternoon but I’m not making any promises.<\/li>\n
  7. I will put my \u2018grateful face\u2019 on whatever I am given. It\u2019s the thought that counts. No really, it is<\/i> the thought that counts.<\/li>\n
  8. I will take the dogs for walks as usual, no matter how much they moan about leaving the rug in front of the wood-burner.<\/li>\n
  9. I will not moan about Christmas telly and find something else more productive to do.<\/li>\n
  10. I will start the diet in January. Again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
