The real passion for me, began with Gethin Jones and Mark Ramprakash. Had only a vague idea who they were beforehand (sorry chaps). I loved how shy they were, how difficult they both found the performance aspect of the show, how hard they worked.

And they’re both hot.

I’m very happy wading in the shallows!

It’s rare that I know who the ‘celebrities’ are before they shimmy their way down those famous stairs. Believe it or not, even though the Say it With Sequins series is based on a similar dance show, I don’t watch all that much reality TV. But it doesn’t matter I don’t have a clue who Mark Wright and Caroline Flack are, I like to watch the process by which they learn the dances, realize how hard it all is and treat their blisters. Most of all I love the glitz, the glamour – the dresses!

And then there’s the comic turn. Who can forget Julian Clary’s maracas? And was Russell Grant really shot out of a cannon, or was that the stuff of nightmares?

In an interview recently, with one of the presenters of the show, it was suggested the couple who had the most chemistry tended to be the most successful. Read ‘chemistry’ however you like! That’s the thing I most love – it’s a double espresso of people watching. Who gets on? Who smiles annoyance through their gritted, whitened teeth? Who really gets on?!

My tips?

Most likely to be the comic turn: Alison Hammond

Most likely to go out first: Gregg Wallace (sorry, lovely Gregg)

The one with least natural talent: Steve Backshall

The heartthrob: Thom Evans

The surprise: Mark Wright

The most endearing: Jennifer Gibney

The one most likely to win: Pixie Lott (for that, read I’ve absolutely no idea!)

I wish them the best of luck. They’ve all got a ten from me!

Love,

Georgia x

PS If you want to read what might go on backstage in a show like Strictly, catch Say it With Sequins.
