A relaxing beach holiday seems to be the only time I can find to read. Just back from gorgeous sunny Portugal.
Got through these:
Loved Winter Garden. Kristin Hannah is always a go-to holiday read and this didn’t disappoint. Slightly implausible in parts, it’s a heartbreaking family saga of divided sisters and a mother with a terrible secret. Recommended.
Susan Lewis is a new author to me. A Sicilian Affair was a page turner but the dramatic events were a bit overblown for my tastes. Loved the descriptions of Taormina though.
I came to The Love Hypothesis via the film. Great fun. Sharp and witty and I completely fell for Olive and Adam. Loved the film. Loved the book too!
I’ve read most of Lulu Taylor’s books, she’s a favourite author of mine. The Forever Summer was wonderful. Highly recommended.
Read anything good lately? As the days get chilly and short, it’s getting to the perfect cosy up and read time. Let me know your recommendations.
Love,
Georgia x
