The evenings are drawing in, the leaves are littering the lawn and there’s a distinct chill in the air. Am I melancholy? No! It’s time to light the wood-burner, sit down with a glass of something good and watch Strictly.
I caught a short film of the new recruits in training. Some of them are looking good. I’m quite excited about this line-up as I actually know who most of them are. But it doesn’t bother me if I don’t – WARNING J WORD – I enjoy their journey, no matter who they are! I also don’t mind if I’m wrong about who I think will win – like last year. There are some great clips on the BBC blog already:

The Pasha pash is back with a vengeance but new boy Gleb might be one to watch. Anita Rani’s reaction when paired up with him was hysterical. Not sure I’d be able to look him in the eye either, Anita!
Predictions –
Jamelia will be good if she can stop giggling long enough to concentrate.
Jay McGuiness (no, I don’t know who he is either) might struggle.
Iwan Thomas will do well. He’s fit and sportsmen always take instruction and train hard. Let’s hope he has some natural rhythm …
Unless the fan vote keeps him in, Daniel O’Donnell to exit in the first week.
Controversial tip to win – Katie Derham! Wouldn’t that be great for Anton?
Keep dancing!
Love,
Georgia x
PS And don’t forget, if you can’t wait for Strictly to start on Friday, grab a book to read instead!
