I thought it might be useful (and it’s excellent procrastination in order to avoid the edits!) to list the Berecombe books in order. Useful info if you’ve come to the series halfway through.
The book that started it all:
When I wrote Millie Vanilla’s Cupcake Café, I had no idea it would turn into a series and spawn so many other books.
The first Millie book is Spring Beginnings. A mysterious stranger comes into Millie’s seaside café in Berecombe. It turns out to be Jed, who’s on the lookout for information … We also meet Zoe, her grandfather Arthur, and Biddy and her assistance poodle, Elvis.
The second Millie book, Summer Loves, concentrates on Millie’s friend, Dora. Dora is a successful actor returning to her home town for a holiday – or is she? We also get to meet one of my favourite characters, the troubled Mikey Love.
The third Millie book, Christmas Weddings sees a happy ending for not only Millie, but also for Arthur.
The Millie books are available as separate e-pubs or with all three stories combined as an e-pub or paperback and called Millie Vanilla’s Cupcake Café.
The Little Book Café series follows next.
It starts with Tash’s Story. Tash has it made – a great career, a lovely house but all is not what it seems. She’s in a disastrous relationship with the slimy Adrian.
Emma’s Story is next. Emma works with Tash at Berecombe’s estate agents. She’s lived in the town all her life but has become dissatisfied with her lot. When she joins an evening class run by the suave and worldly Joel, things really begin to happen! Emma is our introduction to the large and chaotic Tizzard family.
The third Book Café instalment is Amy’s Story. I love Amy! Hopelessly romantic, she has her dream job – she runs Berecombe’s Book Shop.
The Book Café books are available as separate e-pubs or with all three stories combined as an e-pub or paperback and called The Little Book Café.
Janey Trelawney’s Year of Surprising Triumphs comes next. This concentrates on Cheney House Garden Centre in the village of Bereford, just inland a little from Berecombe and focusses on Janey but we also catch up with Millie, Emma and Amy too.
This is a standalone novel that can be read as an e-pub or paperback.
Then comes The Great Summer Street Party series.
In Sunshine and Cider Cake we meet Ashley who has come to Berecombe to help her cousin, Noah, at the town’s museum. Berecombe regulars pop up, like Biddy, Beryl and Zoe but there’s a new ‘girl’ in town too, Ruby, aged 91!
The next book in the series is GIs and Ginger Beer where Ashley and Eddie’s story is developed and where we also find out more about Ruby.
And the third is Blue Skies and Blackberry Pies where many Berecombe regulars appear. Will it be Ashley and Eddie’s happy ending? You’ll have to wait until May to find out!
The Great Summer Street Party is currently available as separate e-pubs and soon to be published with all three stories combined as an e-pub or paperback.
Hope this has helped. I love Noah Lydden and Zoe and have a hankering to develop them in future books. If you’ve a favourite character who you’d like to see more of, let me know. You never know, they might get a whole book dedicated to their story!
Love,
Georgia x
