On Saturday, I got into the Christmas spirit by going to the Victorian Fair in Worcester.
Poor old Worcester, being at the join of the rivers Teme and Severn, means it gets flooded regularly – and had been hit hard in the recent heavy rains.
But, all was dry if not too warm on Saturday. The crowds were out in force, there were street entertainers, a brass band and some truly tempting food to nibble. Hubby bought some peculiarly named real ale, I bought one of those gorgeous dried orange and clove decorations and we were both happy.
I love Christmas. The wreath is up, the tree will be bought next weekend and the whisky will be flavouring the coffee as I make mince pies.
If I don’t get chance to post again before the big day – a very Happy Christmas to you all and huge thanks for buying, reading and your lovely support this year.
