Sorry for the absence, I’m chasing a deadline on the new Cornish romcom series. We’ve just agreed titles and there might be some exciting news coming about them too. I’ve really been enjoying exploring a new setting and a whole set of new characters, including a very naughty spaniel!
St Agnes is the inspiration for my little seaside town. It’s where I visited last autumn. It looks amazingly dramatic here – the sleet which blew in off the sea and forced us to retreat to the warmth of the Driftwood Spars was heading in.
Luckily, the weather in the book I’m currently writing is a little kinder although my characters still seem to spend an awful lot of time in the pub …
I’ve also just had a glimpse of the cover of the new Lullbury Bay book and it’s gorgeous. So summery and uplifting. Hope to be able to show it to you soon. It’ll be out in June.
If you can’t wait until then for a new book from me, check out these. Some great reads to choose from if you’ve got time off over Easter. And reading is a great escape from the world news.
Take care. We’re living through scary times.
Love,
Georgia x
