In between getting some short stories ready to self-publish, trying to get into the second draft of the WIP and getting distracted by writing another short about an S.O.E I’m also contemplating a new Sequins novella. I’m working hard but not being very focussed. I never did that To Do List for 2015. Maybe I should!
I haven’t had much time to watch television so missed this completely and it’s a really lovely idea.
Strictly fans have nominated members of the public who they feel deserve a chance to star in the dance show. Looking at the people taking part makes you realise how many give up their time and effort to create a better world for others. It’s humbling. How great that they get to learn to dance, get the full Strictly treatment and appear on the show! And, at the risk of wading in the shallows here, how fab-u-lous to have Ian Waite back on TV. Sssh! Don’t tell anyone but I based my character Daniel Cunningham on him.
Funnily enough, Sequins 4 has a similar idea. In it, people pay to take part in a Regency version. Was the BBC in my head? I worry for them if they were!
