I’m almost feeling like a real writer nowadays. I took the plunge last week and hired a professional photographer to do some author pics. Of course, the dogs got in on the act. Luckily, Sam Tracey from PaperAngel Photography didn’t mind dogs, in fact she and Bertie had a bit of a flirt.

I’m not very comfortable being at the sharp end of a camera but Sam made me feel relaxed and it was a fun few hours. If you’re midlands based and are looking for a wedding photographer or portraitist, she comes highly recommended.

I love the results and it inspired a short story too. Just submitted it!
